Located only 16 miles from downtown Chicago, Calumet Park has the comforts of a small Village. This is reflected in our quarterly newsletter that highlights our Recreation Center, Parks, Senior Center, Chamber of Commerce, School Districts, and various community events– including the popular Community Festival held each year during Summer.
As I stand here in the hub of our new state-of-the-art 911 Center (CALCOMM 9-1-1),
I marvel at how collective effort always brings progress. And I am honored that the
first emergency center in Cook County with the capacity to accept calls and
"text-to-911" messages is housed right here in Calumet Park Village.
