The Village of Calumet Park Public Works Department mission is to provide essential services to our community and infrastructure to enhance the residents and businesses everyday lives.
The Director of Public Works is responsible for overseeing the Department services to its citizens through the planning, operation, maintenance, and construction management of the Village’s public infrastructure. The Department’s responsibilities include operation and maintenance of the Village streets and alleys, street lights, garbage, sewers, distribution of water, collection and sampling of water, and permitting regulation of public and private construction. The Department is staffed with a trained workforce of approximately 7 employees.
